The survey aimed to: 1) identify how far businesses have taken up the challenge of preparing for climate change, 2) help inform future work by the SWCCIP Tourism Group, and 3) help to prioritise future resource in addressing the needs of tourism businesses. Along with a number of other findings, the results show that 56% of respondents have already been affected by severe weather and 63% think that their businesses will be affected in the future, with flooding the highest concern. However, when asked about what adaptation actions they have implemented, only 46% of respondents have implemented any of the 13 measures given.
