Species Western ramping fumitory - Fumaria occidentalis, plant
Habitat ARABLE FARMLAND
Background and status A robust, clambering annual with stems up to 150cm long. Commonly found around wasteground, hedgebanks, walls and gardens. Often associated with human activity, it was formerly widespread in the bulb fields of Scilly. Now only found on these Isles and the South West coast of Cornwall. Flowers May-October.

It is a globally-threatened UK endemic. Significant decline in last 30 years. Now confined to west Cornwall and Isles of Scilly from between 28 and 50 sites.
